I have been running informal social meetings of tech writers in London for the last two years. These are now independent gatherings but they are supported by both the ISTC and the UK Chapter of the STC. The next London Tech Writers Social takes place on 19th November at a new venue. Here are the details:
Date: 19th November 2009
Time: 6:30pm
Venue: Garrick Arms, 8 – 10 Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0HGThe Garrick Arms pub is 2 minutes walk from Leicester Square station (Northern and Piccadilly lines) and less than 10 minutes walk from Charing Cross main line station.
We will have an area of the bar reserved for us (ask for the London Tech Writers Group), and as before, you will be able to buy your own drinks and snacks or meals at the bar.
This is an informal social meeting, supported by both the ISTC and the UK and Ireland Chapter of the STC, and open to everyone. Please pass this invitation on to other people who might be interested.
