Moving to WordPress

This is my first post on my new WordPress powered site. Although I was a little bit nervous about making the great leap forward to WordPress, after years of hand-coded HTML and CSS, I have found the move surprisingly easy. I want to thank my friend @kmdk for gallantly talking me through the set-up steps.

I have set up a number of static pages for my site, and I have two major tasks left. They are to move over an archive of my posts from The Blockhead Blog, and to set up my library of articles and other samples. These tasks may take some time, and meanwhile there are plenty of minor tasks to deal with over the coming days, like sorting out blogroll links.

Please come back soon to see how I’m doing.

    Hey David,

I just started reading recently. Congrats on getting moved to WordPress—it’s a great platform.

I suggest installing the “Full Text Feed” plugin so your readers can see entire posts in their feed readers. Cheers!
